Can I Withdraw Cash From a Bitcoin ATM?

Did you know that most Bitcoin ATMs won’t let you withdraw cash? That’s right, over 2/3 of all BTMs will only let you BUY cryptocurrency … not sell it for quick cash. But that’s not really an “ATM,” is it?

It’s only the more expensive and complex two-way (bi-directional) machines that will give you access to your funds. These kiosks use advanced technology and are much harder to find than the simple one-way type.

So basically, if you spend your time searching Google for a Bitcoin ATM and driving to the location, chances are you won’t be able to withdraw your cash once you get there. How frustrating!

So, what’s the solution?

Coin Cloud Has You Covered

Don’t worry. The good news is, 100% of Coin Cloud BTMs allow you to both buy and sell crypto for cash. Not only that, but over 60% of all two-way Bitcoin ATMs in the USA are Coin Cloud.

With over 1,000 machines, there’s a Coin Cloud near you. Save your time and energy by using Coin Cloud’s locator map, because that way you know ALL search results will allow you to both buy and sell bitcoin (plus 30 altcoins).

There’s an App for That!

You don’t have to use the Coin Cloud Wallet app to cash out your dough. You can use any digital crypto wallet. But you’ll probably want to use the Coin Cloud one because it streamlines your experience and lets you take some shortcuts:

  • Access the Bitcoin ATM locator map right inside the app
  • See which machines have enough cash for your desired withdrawal
  • Set up your sell transactions in advance and reserve your cash for up to 48 hours
  • Grab your cash as soon as you arrive at the machine with no further wait time
  • Have your transaction amount automatically filled in instead of typing long numbers

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to withdraw your cash from a Coin Cloud Bitcoin ATM.

How to Cash Out your Bitcoin

  2.

  17. Head to the machine while the transaction is being processed (about 10-15 minutes on the Bitcoin network); note that your cash is reserved for up to 48 hours
  18.
